How It Works

Join Rewards

Create an account using your email, phone number, and a password or sign-in via Facebook or Apple ID.

Scan

Scan your Rewards barcode at checkout or use your phone number at the pump to earn points.

Earn Points

Earn 4 points for every $1.00 you spend on qualifying products and 1 point for every gallon of fuel purchased.

Redeem

Your points are good for one year after earning, so use them to redeem free items listed in the Rewards catalog.

Ways to Join Rewards

Download the RaceTrac App

Download the RaceTrac app on your iPhone® or Android™ device or enroll on the website. You’ll create an account using your email, phone number, and a password or sign-in via Facebook or Apple ID. This is considered a “Fully Enrolled” membership.

Sign up via SMS by texting JOIN to 24746. Members who sign-up via text are able to earn points on eligible purchases, receive offers, and redeem offers at checkout by entering the phone number used to enroll.To redeem points, members who sign-up via text will need to download the app and sign-in or sign-in on the website to redeem points for rewards.

Enroll at Checkout

Enroll quickly by entering your phone number at checkout and earn points on qualifying purchases. To receive and redeem offers, verify your phone number via SMS within 30 days. This method provides limited access, and you must complete signup via the RaceTrac app or website to unlock full program benefits.

Can I still sign up if I don't have a smartphone?

Yes. You can sign up for RaceTrac Rewards and a VIP subscription directly on our website.

Can I use my subscription at RaceWay locations?

No. The RaceTrac Rewards and VIP subscription program is only valid at RaceTrac locations.

How is my personal information kept secure?

RaceTrac follows industry‑leading information security standards and best practices to keep guest data as safe and secure as possible.

How do I submit feedback on the program?

Please send your feedback to guest@racetrac.com. Your support and feedback is crucial.

What is a qualifying RaceTrac Reward product?

Inside the store, you earn 4 points per $1 spent on most products. Excluded items include alcohol, tobacco, lottery, and services such as money orders or gift cards.

All fuel grades earn 1 point per gallon.

RaceTrac may change, modify, suspend, or eliminate this rewards program without notice.

How do I redeem my points?

You can redeem your points for free items at RaceTrac stores.

To redeem:

Tap “Redeem Points” on the Rewards page.
Choose from eligible items.
Tap “Redeem Now” to add the item to your account.
When you scan the item and your Rewards card or phone number at checkout, the discount will apply automatically.

RaceTrac may change, modify, suspend, or eliminate this rewards program without notice.

What’s the difference between full enrollment and quick enrollment?

Fully enrolled members get full access to earn and redeem points, receive offers, and use all mobile app and/or website features.

Quick enrollment members get limited access to the program. They must complete full enrollment for full benefits. Quick enrollment members can only receive and redeem offers if they verify their phone number.

Both options are free.

To become a fully enrolled member, download the RaceTrac app or register via the website. Use the same phone number you used in initial enrollment and complete your profile.

Do standard messaging rates apply?

Yes. Your mobile carrier’s standard messaging and data rates may apply for verification texts.

Can I opt out of text messages?

Yes, you can opt out at any time. Opting out may limit your ability to fully participate in the program.

Do my RaceTrac Rewards points expire?

Yes. Unused RaceTrac Rewards points expire exactly one year after they are earned, following a first‑in, first‑out basis.

How do I track my RaceTrac Rewards status?

Track your Rewards status using the Status Tracker in the RaceTrac app. Open the app, navigate to the Rewards tab, and look for the Status section. You can check your points in real time and stay on top of your status goals throughout the year.

Does my tier level expire?

Yes. RaceTrac Rewards members must requalify for their tier status each year. To keep your status, you need to reach the annual point minimum for your current tier within the calendar year (January 1–December 31). Learn more on the Tier Changes page.

What do I need to do to maintain my tier status?

To maintain your tier status, earn the minimum number of points required for your tier during the calendar year (January 1–December 31). Once you meet the minimum, you keep that status for the rest of the current year and the full following calendar year. You’ll need to requalify each year to maintain your status.

What does yearly requalification mean?

Yearly requalification means you must earn a minimum number of points each calendar year to keep your current tier. Once you meet that threshold, you retain your status for the rest of the current year and the full following year.

For example, if you qualify for Tier 5 in September of 2025, you’ll enjoy Tier 5 benefits though December 31, 2026. Your status for 2027 will depend on your earnings in calendar year 2026.

What happens if I don't requalify for my current tier?

If you don’t meet the required point minimum for your current tier, your status for the next year will adjust to the tier that matches your earning activity. You can move back up anytime by earning enough points to qualify for a higher tier in the future.

How do I change the phone number associated with my RaceTrac Rewards account?

You can update your phone number on the RaceTrac Rewards webpage or in the RaceTrac app.

On the website: Log in and click Account in the top right corner.
In the app: Tap the Settings icon in the top right corner, then scroll to Edit Profile to update your information.

What if I forgot my username and password?

You can reset your password on the Forgot Password page. If you're still having trouble accessing your account, please contact guest@racetrac.com for assistance.

What if I decide that I no longer want the subscription, or I move to a location without any RaceTrac stores?

You can cancel your RaceTrac Rewards subscription by logging into your account on the website or app and selecting the option to cancel your subscription. This will stop your auto‑renewal payment. Your subscription will remain active until the day before your next scheduled renewal.

How do I redeem coupons?

Coupons are automatically added to your Rewards Card. Simply scan your Rewards Card barcode at checkout and the eligible savings will be applied.

How do I deactivate my account?

You can deactivate your account by going to Account Page → Personal Information → Delete Account.

What happens if I don’t verify my phone number?

Your account may be suspended, and you may not be able to access offers or other program features. You can fix this by downloading the RaceTrac app if 30 days have passed.

My account was suspended. How do I reactivate it?

To reactivate your account, Download the RaceTrac app or text “START” to 24746. Once verified, your account will remain active as long as it is used at least once every 24 months.

What if I change my phone number?

Update your phone number promptly through your account so you continue receiving verification codes and important account messages. If you need assistance changing your phone number, please reach out to us at guest@racetrac.com.

If I sign up at the pump or register, why do I get a text message?

RaceTrac sends a verification text to confirm your phone number. Just reply “Y” or “YES” to complete verification. This protects your account and unlocks access to receive and redeem offers at checkout.

Who is eligible to play?

How do I play?

Access the “Fuel Your Thirst” game via the RaceTrac Rewards app and accept the terms and conditions, then visit any participating RaceTrac location between May 6, 2026 and August 4, 2026 and purchase any eligible non-alcoholic cooler beverage(s) [examples: carbonated soft drinks, energy drinks, sports drinks, juices, etc.] using your RaceTrac Rewards ID at check out to earn a game play. Travel across the game board and win instant food, beverage, and fuel offers as you go. Reach the end of the board to enter into a sweepstakes for your chance at winning fuel or fountain drinks for a year. Then do it all again – replay to keep earning offers and upping your chances to win!

Can I still play without making a purchase?

While purchasing an eligible non-alcoholic cooler beverage(s) using your RaceTrac Rewards ID is required to earn a game move to travel across the board in the app and collect food, drink, and fuel offers, no purchase is necessary to enter into the sweepstakes for your chance to win fuel or fountain drinks for a year.
